Abstract & Modern posters

Abstract prints are the mood-setters of the poster world: they don't depict a place or a subject, they change the weather of a room. This collection is curated by palette and energy — soft, washed colour fields for calm rooms; bold geometry and contrast for spaces that need waking up. Because nothing here has to "match" a subject, abstract work is the most forgiving choice for awkward walls: the space above a sofa, the end of a hallway, the wall in a rental you can't quite commit to. Size is the whole game — abstract art reads as atmosphere at 24×36 and 28×40, and as punctuation at smaller sizes, so go one size larger than instinct suggests. Simple frames only: black for graphic work, white or pale wood for the soft fields, since the art is already doing the talking. Start from the colours your room already owns, then pick the print that argues with them just slightly.

How this collection is chosen: Feeling before explanation — colour, form and texture chosen to change a room's temperature, not to be decoded.
