Anchorage Summer Jazz Poster Print

Jazz under a midnight sun is its own genre: Anchorage summers give festivals daylight past eleven, and this bill — Town Square Park, July 18–20, 2001 — leans into the strangeness with a loose ink drawing of a bereted player in a Breton-striped top, eyes closed, wrapped around an enormous orange saxophone nearly as tall as she is. The brushwork is quick and affectionate, nothing like a polished club poster. An Anchorage jazz print is a genuine conversation piece on a music wall — most collections stop at New Orleans and New York — and its cream ground suits bright rooms. Frame it in wood or black at 12×18, and let it be the shelf's far corner.
