Amsterdam Jazz Festival Poster For Music Room

On a ground of flat magenta, a saxophonist in black silhouette leans into his horn while orange shapes flare around him like stage lights, a tiny row of canal houses and a dancing figure tucked into the corner. The address printed at the bottom — Damstraat, in Amsterdam's centre — gives the design the feel of a flyer rescued from a club-district wall. Everything moves: even the lettering refuses to sit straight. Pink this strong wants a quiet frame, so choose black to contain it or wood to warm it. It suits a music room or hallway at 12×18 in, and it pairs well with a black-and-white jazz print, which will look calmer beside this one's sugar rush.
