How big is it, really?

Every size against a 7 ft wall and a 5′6″ figure. If you are between sizes, the larger one is rarely the regret.

Curator’s note

One guitar, drawn huge, fills the bill: black and cream against a saturated yellow field, ringed by a black-and-yellow checkerboard border. The lettering keeps the details plain — Austin Jazz Festival, Rosewood Neighborhood Park, Saturday, August 3, 1991. Nothing is decoration for its own sake; the design behaves like the music it advertises, a single strong voice carrying the whole arrangement. A black frame locks into the checkerboard edge and stops the yellow from buzzing. Go to 18×24in so the guitar keeps its scale. This is a music-room or studio poster; pair it with the Art & Jazz exhibition print, whose yellow band speaks the same language.
